Lez Date
Are you ready for the date auction?
It sounds like it. We’re getting tons of email RSVPs coupled with burning questions. Below is a sampling of FAQs. (We can’t wait for Thursday!)
Who took those hot pictures?!
Those gorgeous promo photos were taken by Mara Rago. And yes, those are “real” Pittsburgh lesbians, who are really going to be in the auction.
Is someone’s girlfriend going to beat me up for bidding?
No, every girl in the auction is 100% single.
How much cash should I bring to bid?
The bidding starts at $25. The dates are valued around $150-$200. So getting the girls for anything less would be a steal.
Can I pay with a card?
Yup! We take plastic. Right on the spot. Checks, too.
Where’s the money go?
To The Delta Foundation, whose mission it is to improve the quality of life for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community in Western Pennsylvania.

Age: 35
Occupation: Physician Assistant practicing primary care medicine at UPMC Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic for the past 6.5 years, serving the needs of the mentally ill; primarily those with drug and alcohol addiction. Responsibilities include managing medical problems, responding to emergencies, performing physical examinations and minor surgical procedures. I also serve as an educator for staff development.
Extra involvements: For my love of teaching, I am an Adjunct Faculty member for the University of Pittsburgh, Seton Hill and Chatham University’s Physician Assistant Program. A total of 5 students train with me individually for 5 weeks during the academic year.
Fun: love to shop, dance, get crazy with friends on the weekends, take road trips, wine tasting, trying new restaurants, softball, washing the car, taking long drives in my convertible, Steeler and Penguin games, working out, cooking
Eat: I pretty much love to eat everything, but my all time favs-hibachi, chicken parmesan, spaghetti and meatballs, Get Go subs at 2am, Peanut Butter M&Ms, mint chocolate chip ice cream and chocolate chip cookies
Great Loves of my Life: Although I have many, the greatest love of my life is my Mom, who passed away 3 years ago. She’s my inspiration and why I’m who I am today. Since I am very much a child at heart, my second greatest love is Rehoboth Beach, a place where I’ve been going since I was a kid. A place where I can be myself, at peace, carefree and bonded with my Mom. And yes, my third greatest love, The Pittsburgh Steelers. If you don’t have Steeler fan on your resume, don’t bother bidding.
Skills: I would like to think that I’m an inspiration to my students for I have a true love for pushing them to be the best they can be. I strive on bringing out the best in others. I also take great pride and skill in providing the best care I can give to my patients. Having someone trust in you with their life is the greatest reward.
Favorite Song: Hmm this is a tough question. I have many. I would have to say, Fix You by Coldplay
Favorite Movie: Moulin Rouge
What makes me a great date: I believe I have huge heart and know what I have to offer someone. I’m not afraid to express my feelings. As a result of life experiences, I have an affection for life and for having as much fun as I possibly can while I can. Having loved and lost, I’ve become a stronger person and know what I want and don’t want from a relationship. I love to laugh and just enjoy the company of someone. I pay close attention to simple things. I’m loving, kind, spontaneous, complimentary and a guaranteed good time
